What is a Core?
A "core" is your old engine or transmission that is returned to us after you receive your replacement part. Cores are rebuilt and remanufactured, creating a sustainable cycle of quality parts.
Core Deposit
When you purchase a remanufactured engine or transmission, a core deposit is added to your order. This deposit is fully refundable when you return your old part.
Return your core within 30 days to receive your full deposit refund.
How to Return Your Core
- Log into your account and go to your order history
- Select the order and click "Start Core Return"
- Print the prepaid shipping label
- Package your old part securely
- Drop off at the designated carrier location
Core Requirements
- Must be the same type as the part purchased
- Must be complete with all components
- Must be rebuildable (no catastrophic damage)
- No excessive rust or corrosion
